To celebrate the reopening, we're giving 25 lucky people the chance to be among the very first to make a splash at 6am on Thursday 1 October. Enter the First Splash for your chance to experience the facility before anyone else and be part of a memorable moment for our community. Winners will be notified on Monday 21 September.
The celebrations continue throughout the opening weekend, with free pool entry for everyone on Saturday 3 October and Sunday 4 October. Join Glenorchy City Council on Saturday 3 October from 10am to 2pm for a community pool party featuring fun activities, entertainment and plenty of reasons to celebrate the pool's return.

To be eligible to enter and participate, entrants must:
Be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
Be able to attend the Glenorchy War Memorial Pool at 6am on Thursday 1 October 2026
Be physically capable of safely participating in swimming and water-based activities.
Comply with all pool entry conditions, directions from staff, and these Terms and Conditions.
Please note, there is only one entry per person.
If a winner cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible, or is unable to attend the event, a replacement winner may be selected.
