School Survey

Sport is an important part of the Glenorchy lifestyle.

Glenorchy City Council is preparing a Sport and Recreation Strategy for the municipality. The Strategy will:

  • provide a snapshot of current facility provision, 
  • examine influencing factors (such as population change and trends)
  • provide information and recommendations to inform future plans for Councils and Funding Agencies. 

Consultants Otium Planning Group have been engaged to develop the strategy and undertake a study about the sporting and active recreation reserves and facilities in Glenorchy and their availability for different uses from casual community use to elite participation.

This schools survey is an important part of the study process.

Your feedback will give Glenorchy City Council a clearer understanding of your schools use of sports facilities, and your views about current and future needs.
