Showcase Moonah is an exciting art and creative placemaking project to promote the Moonah Hub.
We are seeking proposals from businesses, local artists, creatives and innovators to activate Moonah through art, cultural activities, placemaking projects and events.
WHY?
We want to help celebrate the gritty, urban character and diverse and multicultural people of Moonah. It builds on the ideas and community feedback from the Moonah Precinct Plan, the Beyond the Curtain report and forthcoming Arts and Cultural Strategy.
WHO?
Showcase is another Glenorchy City Council (GCC) project and is being supported by local placemaking firms Town Team Movement and Future Common.
WHEN?
Projects must be done during April to June 2021.
HOW?
Project submissions closed on Monday 22 March 2021. Applications are currently being assessed by the Showcase Moonah team. Stay tuned for information on the successful applicants and the upcoming program of events and activities to Showcase Moonah!
Successful projects will be provided with a budget by GCC. All projects must be completed by 30 June 2021.
